Abstract

In atempt to get elementary insight of interpheron action on leukocyte fagocytable capacity, in vitro were tested fagocytes from the patients with various diseases.

The fagocytable material was carbo animalis, interpheron was put in the medium and the percentage of fagocytosis was checked in every sample which consisted from 100 cells.

The results pointed out that interferon doesn't influence essentially on the fagocytable activity on the polymorphonuclears, while monocyte fagocytosis was increased about 20 percents.
